Gone?

So every few months our animal set up changes.
I mentioned a few posts ago how I discovered the Reptile, the Bird and the Hamster set up was changing.

But I was confused as to why we didn't have any place for Chinchillas in the new schematic of 'where all the animals go.'

There'd been no message saying we were no longer carrying them, no indication that they were removed from our inventory.
They were just....not there.

But then.

I found out why.
Why we won't have chinchillas anymore after we sell our current one.

It's because we've broken ties with the breeder who breeds them.

After investigating conditions there....
They were deemed not to be up to standard.

And so....
We're no longer getting Chinchillas from them.

O.o

Which could mean that we'll never have Chinchillas in the store again....
Or it could mean that they're just on a 'long term out of stock' list until we find a new breeder to get them from.

It's hard to say for sure.

:( But it is depressing to know that there are people out there who don't care about the animals at all. What conditions their in. What health they have. That they have enough food and water.
That they're really only doing it to make money.
It's super depressing.

I wish there was more I could do....
