My coworker had to deal with an interesting customer the other day at the register.
Apparently the customer had handed her cash.
Which resulted in a single penny being given back.
But the customer wasn't happy with that single penny.
Why?
Because it was old and dirty and grimy looking.
She wanted a brand new shiny penny instead.
O.o
But my coworker had already closed the drawer.
So the customer had to wait until another customer paid with cash, before my coworker could give her her shiny penny.
O.o
I have no idea how long she had to wait....
But seriously...
It's a penny, no matter how grimy it gets....
