Interrupted Music

So we have music playing at work.
A recent thing.
Well, a reintroduced recently thing.
As when I first started at Starsmet, we had music playing....
And then the music started playing with commercials.
And then the music stopped playing....

Because I think corporate thought playing music was a waste of resources or something? Who knows.

In any case.
Last year they brought the music back! Woot!
We no longer had to work to silence which has been great. :D

And it's been interesting, because the music choices for work are rather....
well. Strange.
We basically have a little bit of everything playing. Techno, country, hip hop, oldies. It's a crazy mixture of music and some of the songs are eye raising. Like...people listen to these songs willingly? lol.

In any case, the fun thing is that every time the month changes, the music alters a bit as well. Some songs go away, some new songs are introduced.
Which is nice, so that we don't get sick of hearing the same songs over and over and over and over.

However,
This month, actually within the past week, there's been a change.
And not a fun change.

They've introduced commercials again.
Bleh.
Those totally don't work. People don't listen to commercials and with all the ambient noise that's already in the store -dogs barking, people talking, fish system running, birds chirping....the commercial ends up sounding like those Charlie Brown Adults. Blah blah blah blah

I hope it's just a phase for this month.
Because if we end up having to listen to the same commercial playing over and over throughout the day...
It's going to drive people insane.

Guess we'll see.
