Update: Bird with the broken leg mentioned in my last post? Not a broken leg. Just deeply bruised.
I had a group of school children come into work today.
As they were on a field trip to the pet store.
For the main purpose of seeing animals that come from eggs.
So like the fish, the reptiles, the birds.
As that's what they were talking about this week in their class.
And today they were more specifically focusing on the Turtles/Tortoises.
So to help them out.
I brought out the Tortoise we had -as we were out of Turtles.
For them to feel, pet, ask questions about.
And then a snake for them to also touch.
lol.
Nothing like being mobbed by small children to either make you feel really loved, or just super overwhelmed.
There was one adorable boy that leaned his head on my arm as he petted the snake. So cute!!
Totally a fun moment in a tiring day. :)
