My cashier of the day told me she had a rather interesting conversation with a customer.
In that when the customer got up to the register they asked. "Are you guys going out of business?"
My cashier was taken aback. "No, we're not. Why?"
"Because your aisle of dog food is basically empty."
O.o
Just...one....aisle...was empty?
You do realize that we have like 6 aisles full of dog food right?
You do realize that you walked from the back of the store to the front, passing hundreds of thousands of items on our shelves that make our store appear fully stocked....
And you ask if we're going out of business?
*shakes head*
Just because you picked a popular brand of dog food to feed your dog and everyone else seems to pick it as well, plus we probably hadn't gotten a shipment of food in yet....which meant we didn't have the product on the shelves...
You assume we're going out business?!?
