MRS -Cleanliness

Oh, I'm liking my new roommate more and more. ^^

Apparently she had the fix-it guy come in to replace a light that wasn't working in her room.
And for some reason a lady came in with the guy as well.

She took one look at our kitchen.
Basically stuck her nose in the air, and said "This would never pass cleaning checks."

O.o Excuse me.
Were cleaning checks today?
Obviously no.

What more so, it wasn't like the kitchen was a 'disaster area.'
There was mail on the counter, a drink left out from the night before, dishes in the sink, random food items on the counter,
Hardly a mess at all.
It just looked lived in!

But from how the roomie described it.
She was acting like we were the worst of hoarders with trash piled all over the place.

So my roomie quickly moved stuff off the counter, did a quick spray down on it to wipe it clean and asked cooly "Is this better?"

"It's tolerable." Was the response.

Ooooo I hate her already.
She sounds like one of the super ultra neat freaks who thinks the apartment is a disaster if there is a speck of dust visible anywhere. *sighs*

But the best part...
Is that my roommate is of the same opinion.
She was offended that this stranger walked into our apartment and started criticizing our place.
Honestly lady, you know nothing about our lives, how busy we've been, the chaos that's been going on and you come in and judge our place?
Yah. She definitely wasn't there to make friends.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one to take offense at this unwanted opinion.
